GREEK REFERENDUM : 61.31% People Greece Select No, Europe Minister Shocked

European ministers shocked, the majority of the Greek people choose No.


After the final ballot papers counted in the Greek referendum process, select 'No' won the vote dramatically with the number 61.31% versus 38.69% for the option 'Yes'.

Victory group of foreign creditors rejected the offer assistance with strict requirements, making the eurozone ministers in surprise. German Economy Minister said that it is not inconceivable to think of new negotiations related to the country's debt.

German Vice Chancellor Sigmar Gabriel said Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras has dashed the last hope for maintaining relations with Europe.

But Italian Foreign Minister Paolo Gentiloni said it is time to negotiate a new agreement.

In Spain, Pablo Iglesias, leader of opposition party PODEMOS savings, welcomed the referendum results as a victory for democracy.

Meanwhile, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Francois Hollande said they would ask for the holding of the euro zone summit on Tuesday (07/07/2015) related to the results of the Greek referendum.
