A diver died after being attacked by a shark in front of her, off the coast of Tasmania, Australia.
The father-daughter pair were diving for mussels collected near the town of Triabunna Saturday (25/07) when the shark attacked.
The princess returned to their boats with mussels, but became worried when his father, did not show up to the sea surface.
He then dives back in to find her father and saw it being eaten by the "big sharks", police said.
"She's right back to the surface where it made an emergency phone call," said David Wiss police Tasmania.
Mariners in the area rushed to the scene and lifted the man from the sea, but the wound was too severe and he was pronounced dead.
Surf back
A great white shark along the 4.5m seen in the area on Friday, according to Australian media reports ABC.
Diver, Danny Smith said he was faced with a shark before swimming away.
"He did not intend to bite me. I think, the shark swam just to see me," he added.
Fatal shark attacks that occurred recently in February off the coast of Australia, when a Japanese man killed in Shelly Beach, close to Sydney.
Meanwhile, an Australian surfer who survived a shark attack in South Africa a few days ago, was back surfing.
Mick Fanning, 34, upload his picture and said, "The first time they're surfing in Australia. It feels so pleasant."
